What is electric heating elements?
Electric heating elements, such as silicon carbide (SiC) rods and silicon molybdenum (MoSi2) rods, are components that convert electrical energy into heat energy. SiC rods can withstand temperatures up to 1600°C and are known for their durability and energy efficiency. MoSi2 rods can withstand even higher temperatures, up to 1800°C, and provide rapid heating and cooling cycles. They are commonly used in industries such as metallurgy and ceramics production as well as in research and development applications.
