Product Description

High alumina brick is a type of refractory brick made from high-purity alumina and other materials. It has a high content of alumina, typically over 50%, which gives it excellent resistance to high temperatures, corrosion, and erosion.

High alumina brick can be classified into three categories based on their alumina content:

Low-grade high alumina brick (alumina content between 48% and 55%): Used in areas of moderate wear such as hot blast stove checkers, glass kilns, and coke oven roofs.

Medium-grade high alumina brick (alumina content between 55% and 65%): Suitable for areas of high wear such as blast furnace tuyere, cement kiln, and electric furnace roofs.

High-grade high alumina brick (alumina content between 75% and 85%): Used in the most severe conditions such as the hot zone of a blast furnace, the steel-making furnace, and the cement rotary kiln.

High alumina brick is commonly used in industries that require high-temperature resistance, such as steelmaking, cement production, glassmaking, and petrochemicals. It has many advantages such as high refractoriness, excellent thermal shock resistance, and low thermal conductivity.
